      Green Giant Riced Veggies are an exciting new way to eat veggies that are a gluten-free, low calories food. Enjoy as a great alternative to rice, potatoes, and pasta. These veggies are ready for roasting, baking sautéing, mashing, or steaming. Riced Veggies – as the name implies – are made from 100% vegetables. We take vegetables and chop them up into tiny rice-sized pieces. Our Riced Veggies are made from a variety of vegetables including cauliflower, broccoli, beets and more. Riced Veggies are grain free, gluten free, low calorie and come without sauce or seasoning so you can prepare them just the way you like them. Veggies never tasted so good! Our love for vegetables began over 100 years ago. At Green Giant, our vegetables are picked at the peak of perfection and flash-frozen to lock in nutrients and make meals even mightier.       Directions: Microwave: Place unopened bag, standing up, in center of microwave. Microwave on high 5 to 5-1/2 minutes (Microwave directions developed with 1000-watt ovens. Microwave ovens vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. For 700-watt microwave ovens, cook on high for 8-1/2 minutes) or until hot. Let stand 1 minute in microwave. Carefully remove bag. Caution: Bag will be hot; avoid steam when opening. Stove Top: Squeeze bag gently to separate veggies (if veggies can't easily be separated, defrost in microwave or pour into skillet and cook, covered, over medium-high heat 3 minutes or until veggies break apart, stirring occasionally. Uncover and cook as directed above). Pour contents of bag into large nonstick skillet. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until veggies are hot, stirring occasionally. Must cook thoroughly. See cook instructions. Caution! Hot steam! For food safety and quality, follow the directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not thaw. Refrigerate leftovers.
